Mark was born in Crooksville, Ohio. Grew up in Akron, Ohio and moved to Cuyahoga Falls in 2007.
Mark was a kind, caring man. Even though most of his adult life Mark endured much physical pain, he always did his best to look on the bright side of life. It brought him much joy to make someone laugh and smile. He would bend over backwards to help you out.
Mark loved and cherished his family. He was so proud of his sons and always wanted and did his best to provide what was best for them. And later in life it brought him tremendous joy to be with his beautiful grandchildren. His wife of 32 years, whom he met as a child was his soul mate and he hers.
Mark always loved working with his hands, watching and cheering on the Cleveland Browns and he enjoyed learning about and collecting guns and knives. Mark missed being able to go fishing, hunting and playing darts (which he had been on Master Dart Team).
Mark proudly wore his tattoos of his wife, his sons, his Irish heritage, his time in the Army, etc. As he would say, “I’m telling my story.”
Mark proudly served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. He was a member at the American Legion, Post 281 and also enjoyed his friends at the American Legion, Post 449. Mark had many friends he truly cared about throughout Akron, Kenmore and Cuyahoga Falls.
Mark, you will always be loved and forever missed.
