Kathryn J. Weitzel

Kathryn was the loving mother of Harry (Adell) Maier and Maryellen (Gordon) Taylor. A devoted grandmother “Mam-Maw” of Russ (Brittany)Taylor and Evan Taylor. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Kyleigh Taylor, Cooper Gwinn, Leah and Lilli Taylor.

Kathryn loved sports especially the West Virginia Mountaineers, she was a dedicated member of The First Baptist Church in her hometown of St. Albans, West Virginia for many years before moving to the Akron area to be with her family.

Kathryn’s family would like to thank Barberton Manor Care and Kathryn’s specialized team from Hospice of Summa for the love and care they gave Kathryn and the guidance and support given to her family.

A memorial service will be held to honor Kathryn Saturday April 12, at 2pm at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, where family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Reverend William Sterner will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Kathryn’s name to The First Baptist Church 523 Second St. Saint Albans, WV 25177.
