John was a loving family man, proud of his children and grandchildren.
John was a proud member of Carpenters Union Local #629, and continued to work for many years after retirement.
Besides his parents, John is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Phyllis Huston.
John is survived by his children, Barbara (Jack) Green, Jamie House and Donald "Donny" Huston; his grandchildren, Trisha Cheshire, Steven Green, Jackson (Courtney) Green, Jonathan (Taylor) Green, Andrea Labbe, Austin House, Kayla, Miranda Smith, Megan Smith, Grace Huston-Miller, John Huston, and Phyllis Huston; great grandchildren, Ethan, Michael, Elijah, Nathan, Callie, Madelyn, Jack, and Crayton. John also leaves his siblings, Janice (Frank) Larkin, Diane Bailey, Donald (Cinder) Huston, and Carol Weiner; and his companion, Tracie Berry.
Friends may call 11-1PM Wednesday, April 16th. at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 3653 W. Market St. in Akron, where the funeral service will begin at 1PM.
John will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Funeral Home & Burial Park, 3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333.
