John E. Allen, age 58 of Akron, passed away on April 24, 2022.
John was born on July 22, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to Olen and Naomia (Hill) Allen. He attended Central Hower High School. John enjoyed riding motorcycles. He liked going to the firing range and shooting pistols. John served in the US Army and enjoyed telling stories of his adventures in the Army and overseas.
He will be missed by his mother, Naomia Ricks, children, Logan Shetterly, Connor Allen, and Gillian (Jacob) O’Neil, and sister, Sherry (Paul) Wing.
A private graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
