Ohio on April 10, 1932. She departed this life on Monday, December 1, 2020 at the Gardens of
Cuyahoga Falls nursing home, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
She was educated in the public school of Akron, Ohio. Delores was employed at the Akron City Club, Olson Electronics and retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co. She was an active member of The
Arlington Church until her health failed.
Delores had a passion for writing. Her main interest was poetry. She loved sharing them with her family
and friends. How can we forget her love for yard sales. She was the queen of yard sales. Loved
by all her neighbors for taking care of the street.
Delores-was preceded in death by her parents, John and Essie Forney, daughter (Rhonda Blocker)
and 5 brothers (John, William, Walter, Charles and Doylan).
Mrs. Delores Stone leaves to cherish her memories, her son Doylan J. Fears (Hattie)
one daughter Leslie Fears, six(6) grandchildren (Delores, Lisa, Marlon, Aaron, Varna Jr. and William),
six(6) great grandchildren, one sister in law (Janie Forney of Chandler, Arizona) one son in law
Varna T. Blocker and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Rose Hill Funeral Home 3653 W Market St Akron, OH 44333. Family will receive friends for a Walk-Thru Visitation from 11:00 AM – 12:00, with the Funeral Service following at 12:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 guidelines there will be limited numbers in the chapel, social distancing and facial coverings required. The Service will LiveStream through the funeral home website.
