Cheryl L. Postlethwaite

Cheryl was born on April 21, 1946 in Ravenna, Ohio to Harold and Irma (Huffman) Gray. She worked in the concession stand at Akron Rollercade Skating Rink, while her father DJ’d and children were in competitive speed skating. Cheryl was a mom to all and was always upbeat and full of love. She loved listening to music, especially Bob Dylan, Nirvana, and the Grateful Dead. She was the grandma with 1,192 Twitter friends, under the name “Veggie Girl.” She loved her pug, Charlie, that she posted daily pictures of on twitter. Cheryl enjoyed going shopping and going to flea markets with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Marissa Postlethwaite, and brother, Harold Gray.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her husband of 54 years, Roger, children, Brady (Jen Cogar) Postlethwaite, Megan (Shawn) Wehrlin, and Nathaniel Postlethwaite, grandchildren, Brady, Jr., Christen, LeeAnn, Sebastian, Leacaida, Robyn, Elijah, Gabrielle, and Chloe, 6 great-grandchildren, and brother, Keith Gray.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park.
