Anne Amanda Walker, age 69 of Richfield, passed away on August 7, 2023 in her home surrounded by family.
Anne was born on May 2, 1954 in Akron, Ohio to James and Ruth Miller. She graduated from Ohio University in 1976. Anne was a teacher for Ravenna City Schools for 30+ years as a special education teacher, and retired in 2006. She was an avid runner. Anne sewed teddy bears and donated them to EMS and First Responders for children. Her proudest moments were during family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, George Walker.
Anne will be deeply missed by her daughter, Amanda (Christopher Escobar) Tharp, boyfriend, Alan Sakata, brother, Karl Miller, and cousins, Barbara (Craig) Walker, Margaret (Rick) Walker, and Ruth (Joe Williamson) Walker.
Per Anne’s wishes, cremation will take place. No services will be held.
