Katherine Lix Lynch

A former owner of the Violet Hill General Store, 4H leader, member Acton Agricultural Society, member Halton Hills Seniors Advisory Committee and a long-time member of the Women�s Institute.

She is predeceased by her: beloved husband of more than 51 years, John (Jack) Jennings Lynch, son Peter and granddaughters Sarah and Rachel.

The people who will miss her most and love her always are her children: Edward (Rozann), Kathryn (Murray Brown), Kenneth (Maryann), Joseph (Debbie), Margaret (Scott Sherriff) and her much loved grandchildren: Simon, Jeremy, Jason, Justen, Melodee, Nathan, Shaun, Caitlin, Maddie, Stephen, Patrick and Allison. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild. She will be deeply missed by all her extended family, friends and neighbours, both past and present, across Canada and in Holland. Special thanks to the kind and caring staff of St. Joseph�s Health Care Centre, Guelph General Hospital (4 West) and Drs. Kane and Chiba.

The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Wednesday, March 21st from 1 p.m. until the Service to celebrate her life and legacy which will follow at 3 p.m.

Donations to: Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation, the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Gideons would be appreciated by the family.
