Just two weeks after his 65th birthday, John passed away at home on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the dear brother of Jessie and her husband Howard Gibson, uncle of Tom and Laurie Gibson and great uncle of Paul Gibson, all of Guelph.
He was predeceased by his parents, John L. (1964) and Gladys (2009).
The family will receive friends at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Monday, January 20th, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the Funeral Service, which will be held in the “Shoemaker Chapel” at eleven o’clock.
The interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
