John Civiero

November 24, 1938 – December 14, 2020

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved John Bruno Civiero in his 83rd year after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Angelo and mother Ida, sisters Delphina and Maria, brothers Joe and Gino. Survived by his partner Jeannine Fitsell, Virginia Civiero (mother of his children), sisters Ginetta, Therezina and brothers Peter (Lena), Pio (Vivian). Loving father to Sandra (Gino), Angelo and Michael, grandfather to Nicole (Nicholas), Kristen (Jordan), Cory, Rachel, Dakota, Kayla (Ryan) and Jayde (Elizabeth), and great-grandfather to Charles and Isabella.

He will be missed by many more family members and friends. Johnny made friends easily wherever he went because of his care and concern for everyone, even strangers. One of his many passions was hunting and restoring farm tractors. He was hard working, kind, compassionate with a huge heart full of love for family. Family was most important to him.

All the memories of him will be kept with us forever

because love never dies.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.

A celebration of life to be announced in spring.
