Virginia was born on September 4, 1950, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Amando & Frances Esparza. She was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She Mothered three children Nora, Nancy & Randy, which she loved “Muncho Muncho.” She spent most of childhood with her parents and her 12 siblings growing up around the Pecos and Fort Stockton area. During her time in Fort Stockton, she attended cake decorating school and trained to be a florist, this allowed her to hand-craft beautiful cakes & arrangements for the public, her family & friends. Virginia moved to Abilene with her children, in 1982. While growing up she loved to cut and style peoples hair. So, she decided in 1983 to attend Abilene Beauty College & graduated in 1984 at the top of her class. Upon graduation she opened up her own salon in 1985, “The Hair Extravaganza.” Her clients just ramped and raved about Virginia and would always tell her she was the number one hairdresser in Abilene.
