Victoria Molina Jimenez

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic in Abilene Rev. Rev. Emilio Sosa, officiating. Interment will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 16 from 2-5:00 pm with a Rosary to begin at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home 5701 Hwy. 277 S. in Abilene.

Victoria was born on November 17, 1939 in Laredo, Texas to the late Candelario and Francisca (Lopez) Molina. She grew up in Laredo and Post, Texas. She settled in Abilene in 1972, where she raised her 11 children. Once she entered the workforce, she started a career close to her heart working for the Day Nursery of Abilene. Her excellent work ethic allowed her to rise to the position of Head Cook. She loved to be around family making special memories, tending her rose garden, cooking for her family, feeding the birds and occasionally you can catch her dancing on her beloved patio. Her faith was important to her and she had a special devotion to reciting the Rosary. She will be remembered for her faith in God, raising her children, grace, and strong will.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jose Isabel Jimenez; her siblings, Oscar Molina, Bert and his wife, Valentina Molina; and her brother-in-law Andres Treviño.

Victoria leaves to cherish precious memories her beloved children, Juan Jose Jimenez and his wife, Susie, Lucinda Salinas and her husband Daniel, Peter Jimenez and his wife, Melinda, Virginia Juarez and her husband Alvaro, Rosa Maria Camacho and her husband Lawrence, Luis Jimenez and his wife Rosie, Carolina Santana and her husband Richard, Alejandro Jimenez, Cristina LaValley and her husband Timothy, Leticia Rangel and her husband, Mark, and Michael Jimenez and his wife, Roxanne; her brothers, Luis Molina (Janie), John Molina (Irene), Tony Molina(Josie); her sister, Maria Treviño; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous other relatives and friends.
