A Celebration of her life will be held at Mulky-Mason Funeral Home 740 Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067 on Saturday, June 17th at 2:30pm. Cremation services under the care of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Toby was born on September 20, 1945 is Brooklyn, NY. She was one of two daughters of the late Gerald and Rita (Rockower) Forman. She grew up in a military family and lived many places abroad and stateside. She married Daniel Webster Scott, Jr. in 1962 and traveled following his military career. She initially came in Abilene in the late 60’s. She attended and graduated from McMurry University. She began a career with Texas Instruments. Her love for numbers and organization made her a perfect fit as a cost accountant. She married Robert “Bob” Lee Davis in 1986. Together they merged their two families as one. They created many special memories together. In her career with Texas Instruments, Inc., she was transferred to Lewisville, TX and worked there until TI was purchased by Raytheon, Inc. Raytheon transferred Toby and Bob to Tucson, AZ where they retired and moved back to Abilene. She was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association and Family Motor Coach Association. She will be remembered for her outgoing, fun loving and kind personality. She was also extremely intelligent, a devoted dog lover and served as a rock for her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Davis; her parents; her sister, Laura Jaspers; grandsons, Brian and Brandon Scott; and her daughter-in-law, Karen Scott.
She is survived by two sons, David Davis and his wife, Marci of The Colony, TX, and Dan Davis of Woodson, TX; grandchildren, Heather Huff, Katie Scott, Lauren Scott, Brett Scott, Michael Scott and Christopher Scott; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; 2 stepdaughters, Julia and her husband Eddie Weaver and Debi and her husband David Brow.
