Steven H. “Butch” Reneau, 72, of Abilene, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025 in Abilene. He was born on September 1, 1952 in California to the late Leland Reneau and Francis Mary Martin Reneau. Butch was a surveyor for Hibbs and Todd for 33 years and had a love for motorcycles in his free time. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce.
He is survived by his spouse, Bebi Johnson; two children, Shondell Garza and husband Carlos and Jason Reneau; two grandchildren, Kelby Nelson and husband Jayton and Amberlee Reneau; great grandson, Ryder Nelson; brother, Mitch Reneau; sister, Nancy Parker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Reneau and a sister, Cathy Reneau.
Burial will take place at a later date at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.
