Steve was born on November 3, 1959 in Haskell, Texas. The first of four children born to the late Sandra June Ray Schwartz and Carl Kenneth Schwartz, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Faye and Curtis Ray, and Katherine and Clemens Schwartz; his parents Sandra Schwartz and Kenneth Schwartz, Sr.; and his brother Carl Kenneth (Kenny) Schwartz, Jr.
Steve is survived by his sister Kathy Schwartz of Mesquite, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Samual (Sam) and Tammy Schwartz of Kemp, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
Steve graduated from Cooper High School in Abilene Texas in 1980. He attended the Abilene Adult Day Care until he moved to Mesquite in 2002. While in Mesquite, Steve went to the North Texas Rehabilitation Center, the Mesquite Adult Day Care, and was under the gentle care of CC Young Hospice.
Steve liked to fish, watch westerns and sports on TV, play “match-the-picture” game, and listen to Elvis and Country music. He always wanted to know what was for dessert. He never complained and always said he was doing pretty good.
He touched the lives of so many people despite his adversities and leaves behind many whom loved him. He will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
