Rolando "Rolly" Peralez, 47, of Abilene passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 21, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday March 27, 2018 in the Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories, located at 542 Hickory Street, with Pastor Brian Massey officiating. Serving as Pallbearers will be David Peralez Jr., Hector Peralez, Martin Peralez, Jacob Peralez, Joe Peralez, and Freddy Peralez. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday evening from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.
"Rolly" was born on May 8, 1970 in Weslaco, Texas to David and Julia Peralez. He was employed by Peralez Painting. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and drawing. He fought a good fight, defeated cancer, and now stands in Glory with God.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jose Alfredo Peralez.
"Rolly" is survived by his parents; his children, Rolando Peralez Jr, Mark Silva-Peralez, Anna Peralez, and Tommy Peralez; his girlfriend, Leticia Ornelas; brothers, David Peralez Jr. and wife Glendora of San Angelo, Jose Luis Peralez and wife Vicki of Abilene, Martin Peralez and wife Melissa of Abilene, and Hector Peralez of Rio Grande Valley; sisters, Connie Carreon and husband Efrain of Abilene, Olga Chavana and husband Rodney of Abilene, and Melissa Ortiz and husband Robert of Abilene.
