Believe it or not but it came to my mind to look up Bishop Worley and to my sad surprise here he is.
My dad,Craig Clifton, was assigned to Dyess AFB in1972,  I was 9 and in primary. Back in those days primary was on Wednesdays, I remember when Bishop taught us to respect the chapel because this is where you came feel the spirit so boys wear pants and girls wear dresses or skirts. To this day I will not willingly go into a chapel if I am wearing pants! He was a great bishop and friend. I remember as a ward we practiced a hymn to sing to him, “He’s Our Bishop”, I was so happy to sing with everyone to let him know how much we Loved him. My Love and prayers for the family. Craig and Renaye Clifton send their Love and prayers too

Robert lee Worley was my mother’s brother making him my uncle. I never got to see him very often. But he was a very special person to me. Me, my son and grand-son was able to take a trip to Texas to see his brother Gaylord and spent 3 days with each of them before coming back to Wl. 3 days with each of them. Priceless times. Believe all of you had times just as special as we did. I truely believe that God has a special place for him. Thank you Father.

Bro Worley was always such a stalwart member of the church.  Memories of his example go back for years and years.  Sending prayers of comfort and peace to Sis Worley and the family.

Bob Worley and his wife  are two of the most giving, loving, generous people I have ever known. Both would go out of their way to to help someone in need, including me. I will forever be grateful for the love and support they have given me. Bob will truly be missed. If you did not know him, you missed out on what a wonderful human being he was and how much he loved the gospel; he was the gospel in action!

My name is Joe Harris. I moved to Abilene with my wife and two children in July 1976. Bob was the Bishop of the Ward at the time. I don't think I ever knew a more spiritually dedicated man to the gospel of Jesus Christ as Bob was.
On day after church he asked me to assist him in a blessing at the home of the Walls. Joyce Walls wanted the Bishop (Bob) to give her son Karl a blessing, since he was going into the hospital the next morning at the Dyess AFB Hospital for operations on both his knees. 
I did the anointing and Bob did the sealing and in the blessing he told Karl that he would not need an operation the next day.
When we were walking to the car I turned to the Bishop (Bob) and I said, "Do you realize what you said about Karl not having an operation?"
Bob said, "It wasn't me. That is what the Lord told me to say."
The next day, Karl went in for his surgery and the surgeon wanted a recent x-ray before he did the surgery so they performed that task and moved Karl into the operating room and when the x-rays were brought in the surgeon looked at them and exclaimed, "This young man does not need surgery. There is nothing wrong with his knees." 
A Miracle? Call it what you want. I was there to witness it and to me it was most definitely a miracle. 
I loved Bob Worley. We were best friends. He worked at a local bakery in a grocery store for a while and every morning I would get up real early and go down and we would sit and talk and eat donuts and pastries. I will always remember those chats every morning.

Brother Bob Worley you truly were a disciple of Christ. We so loved your visits to our home. You and Colleen always were so kind and you truly exemplified Christ like love ❤️ and your friendship through the years. We love and admire your service to the Lord and to us.

Colleen & Bob were my Home and Visiting teachers for many years. Bob had the most peaceful countenance and a wonderful spirit about him. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

President Worley gave me my first Temple interview in 1986. My husband also. We loved him. He always said hello or talked to us whenever we saw him. 

My kids and I will always remember him as the candy man at church.  He had a very special spirit. He will always be dear to my heart. 

My granddad was the greatest man! He taught me many life lessons that I will cherish and use as I continue to grow. My hero! There are too many memories to try and pick one. He was a strong man and he loved his family so much. He was also there for so many other families at any time. Honorable is one a thousands words to explain him! He was so loved and oh how he loved was beyond what most have ever experienced. I will miss you more than words can mean grandpa! 

Bob was a great man. I sure have lots of great memories of him. Miss being with him and his famous brisket and being with the family! He’s now not suffering anymore! He was so strong with what he was going through! We will always have him in our prayers! Love You!

When I moved to Abilene and attended church Bro Worley was the Bishop.  He and his wife welcomed me .  I learned so much from him.  We attended empty nesters and spent many fun hours eating and visiting.  
 I will always remember him as Bishop Worley and am so grateful for my association with him and Colleen.
