The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday June 28, 2023 with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home chapel of faith.
Funeral services will be held at St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church on Thursday June 29, 2023 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Bhaskar, officiating. Burial will follow at Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories.
Pete Rodriquez Escobedo was born in Waco, Texas to Macario Escobedo and Mary Rodriquez on March 26, 1956. He attended Cisco Jr. College in Abilene, TX with an Associates' of Applied Science. Pete worked for Batjer & Associates Heating and Cooling for 42 years as a Service Technician and during those 42 years at Batjer he achieved his HVAC state license in order to start his own family business, Escobedo Heating & Cooling with his sons. He retired from Batjer in March 2021 while still continuing to build his family business with his sons and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the casinos, family gatherings and attending his grandchildren's sports events. Pete will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
Pete Rodriquez Escobedo was preceded in death by his parents, Macario Escobedo and Mary Escobedo; sister, Flora Daniels and Tomasito Escobedo.
Pete Rodriquez Escobedo is survived by his wife, Nellie Rosales Escobedo; Sons; Pete Escobedo JR. (Denise), Jacob Escobedo (Teresa), Isaac Steven Escobedo (Rachel) all from Abilene, TX; brothers Macario JR. (MAry Alice), Robert (Irene), Santos (Sandra). And Tommy (Maricela); sisters, Linda Estrada (Mark), Paula Gonzalez (Jose), Lupe Gonzales(Reynaldo) and Rosa Soto (Steven); grandchildren, Star Escobedo, Petey Escobedo III, Michael Escobedo, Eric Escobedo, Trinity Escobedo and Jude Jacob Escobedo.
Pallbearers will be Pete Escobedo JR.,Isaac Escobedo, Pete Escobedo III, Michael Escobedo, Eric Escobedo, Jude Jacob Escobedo, Destiny Escobedo and Trinity Escobedo.
