Paula Guerrero

Paula Guerrero, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at a local medical center in Abilene, TX. Funeral service will be 11:00a.m., on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory St., Abilene. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.

Paula was born on May 1, 1927 in Falfurrias, TX to Andres and Aliphonsa Guerra. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved her family and will be missed.

Survivors include her seven children, Juan Lopez, Arnulfo Lopez, Maria Guerrero and husband Felimon, Alvino Guerrero, Abelino Guerrero, Al Guerrero and wife Connie, and Gilbert Guerrero and wife Julie; her brother, Robert Guerra; her sister, Evelyn Guerra; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
