Patsy Lanelle Luper

She was born in Abilene on July 28, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Odine and Lila Mae Tucker. Patsy had retired in the year 2000, after working many years at Hendrick Medical Center. She attended/graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Abilene. Patsy attended both Sacred Heart and Holy Family Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Council Luper; brother, Keith Tucker; sister, Marieta Henry, and daughter-in-law Barbara Hamric.

She is survived by sons, Rick Hamric and wife Becky of Abilene and Russ Hamric of Flower Mound. Daughters, Carla Blanton of Flower Mound and Ramona Smolenski of Mesa, AZ. Grandchildren, Coby Blanton, Cody and Callie of Flower Mound, and Renee Craig of Cookeville, TN. Sisters, Lorna Harrison and husband Charles of Abilene, Carolyn Harvey of Houston, Glenda Keys and her husband John of Grand Prairie; Brenda Harrison and her husband Phil of Abilene; Becky Franklin and her husband Larry of Abilene, and Drew Tucker and wife Maureen of Norman, OK, and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation will be through Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home with final interment of the ashes at Elmwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patsy's memory to Hospice of the Big Country and to Meals on Wheels of Abilene.
