Milton Lorice Young, 85, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Abilene, Texas. He was born on November 1, 1939 in Abilene to Evelyn Roberts Young. Mr. Young worked as a brick mason since the age of 8. He loved to fish and tinker with his boat. He also loved to build his own model airplanes and could often be found at Sea Bee Park flying and teaching others. He had a soft spot for all dogs and cats.
He is survived by one daughter, Melinda Guttuso of Abilene; two granddaughters, Shaleek Lindeman, and husband Chase, and Misty Graham, and husband Dakota; four great grandchildren, Haven Graham, Blake Lindeman, Keegan Lindeman and Hartley Graham. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Young and two sons, Ricci Young and Michael Young.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, December 19, 2024 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel, 5701 US Hwy 277 South, Abilene. Burial will follow at Abilene Municipal Cemetery, 1133 Cottonwood St, Abilene.
