Mike was born in Neubreucke, West Germany on May 2, 1965. He was born to Howard and Roxann Miller formally from San Angelo, TX. He graduated San Angelo Central High School in 1983. Mike met his wife Laurie in San Angelo; they dated throughout high school and married on June 7, 1984. From this marriage they had two wonderful children, Michael and Erin.
Mike had a wonderful career in the Air Force and retired after 26 years. He was a crew chief for many different types of aircraft but was assigned to the B-1 bomber for the majority of his career. Mike's knowledge and leadership propelled him into the important position of "production super," which is in charge of all maintenance activity on the flight line. This was a position that he was hand selected for and excelled at for over 10 years. He was known for his incredibly magnetic personality and exceptional work ethic.
Many people referred to Mike as being their best friend and a person who they could lean on for personal support. Mike showed his dedication to his country, fellow airmen, and most of all his family. This was evident through him working full time while receiving harsh cancer treatments.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Laurie Miller, daughter Erin Flores and husband Eric Flores, son Michael Miller, brother Howard Miller, sister Deanna Miller, grandson Isaiah Flores, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many great friends who he called family.
