To the Miller Family…My Deepest Sympathies & Condolences. If there is anything I’ve learned during my time in the Air Force, it is what you take away from the very best people you work with.  Mike was absolutely infectious to work with. His character was warm, honest & sincere…I remember so many times he made me laugh and feel so appreciated.  I worked with Mike in B-1 Production for close to three years and during this time, he made me a better production superintendent, airman & person. No matter how bad things were on the flight line, Mike would take everything in with a smile, a joke and a laugh….all with calm determination to get the job done.  When he worked dayshift, I never worried about the days flying or getting the maintenance done….he was simply awesome! The “Best” of Pro Supers!    I will truly miss him….May him Soul Rest In Peace & his Family find strength with his Spirit in their Hearts.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences.  I had the privilege of serving along side of Mike in the 7 AMXS, where he impacted so many people with that infectious smile and his witty replies.  His positive attitude made such a difference to so many in his extended Air Force family.  Mike will be sorely miss; but all of us who were able to share just a few minutes, hours  or days with him know that our lives have been enriched through a man who inspired us to be greater people. I was sadden to hear of Mike’s passing. My thoughts and prayers for you during this difficult time. Mike was an exceptional person and a true military professional. I met Mike in 1994 when I was assigned to the 28th BS and from the onset I admired his work ethics, dedication and expertise. I was fortunate to have him in the Quality Assurance unit during my tour there. I’m glad and proud to have served with Mike. We will all miss him as he touched many of us.

Dearest Miller Family,
We've no words to express our sorrow during this painful time!  Mike touched so many lives, but what I will always remember is his love of his family. I first heard about his brotherly love from Deanna as she talked about her visits to Mike and Laurie's home when she was younger. I felt a son's love each time he and Laurie came to San Angelo to help his Mom and Dad. Mostly, I saw his love every time he looked at y'all.  Mike told Chris during one of his last visits that he couldn't have asked for a more wonderful family. He said he was blessed with the GREATEST wife in the world; the BEST son, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson (naturally!) that anyone could ever ask!  You can see that love in every picture where he's with one of you.  Mike loved y'all with his whole heart, and I pray those memories are the ones you will keep close always, and especially during this most difficult time.

Nina and I cannot begin to express the sorrow and loss that you are going through. I considered Mike as a brother, especially since our return to Dyess our second time when I became Mikes boss. Mike was really the boss when it came to the flight line. He has touched so many lives with his kindness, leadership, loyalty and his love for the B-1. I know we will miss him tremendously as will all the others he worked with. Even though he is gone to be by god's side, he will always be with us as long as we keep him in our hearts and remember the times we had with him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time.  Mike was a great leader at work and always a best friend.  But he was most proud to be a father and a husband!  I'll never forget him teaching me the ropes on B-1s, and our long talks solving the worlds problems!  Don't ever forget that many lives are better because we knew and loved him!

Words alone cannot express our sympathy on the untimely death of Mike, a beloved husband and father. To say that his time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that he will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him.
