Mary Ann Shorthouse

at the age of 58, passed

away on Wednesday

morning, June 20th,

2018. Born and raised in

Abilene, Texas on

Memorial Day, May 30th,

1960, she was the

youngest daughter of

three to Opal Lee Knott and Harry K. Shorthouse.

MaryAnn gave herself to others even when her needs were greater than those. She was kind, loving and caring, very creative and artistic. A child at heart, she was a loving sister and friend. MaryAnn was a special soul who struggled with a mental affliction most of her life. Now at peace, she will be missed by those who knew and loved her, including her surviving sister, Rose. Her spirit is now set free to be with her sister Barbara and the rest of her family in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held today, Saturday June 23, 2018 at 1:30p.m. in the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 U.S. Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX 79606.
