She was born on August 15, 1939 in Greensboro, PA to the late Charles Lengal and Katherine Mary Krupinsky Lengal. On January 8, 1959 she married Jerry Cunningham, Jr. in El Paso, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Abilene. She worked at the Family Life Center at the church as a recreational assistant for many years.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Cunningham, III of Abilene, and a sister, Rosemarie Kafer of Clearwater, FL. She was preceded in death by five brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel, 5701 US Hwy 277 South in Abilene.
