Mary Ellen Bean

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery, with Reverend Stan Allcorn officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory, Abilene.

Mary Ellen was born July 28, 1918 in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Bean; her daughter, Jo Ann Price Musick; and her son, James E. (Buddy) Bean.

Survivors include three granddaughters, Gina Price, Teena McCrary, and Melissa Gibbs (Glen), all of Abilene; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Rodney Price; one niece; and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, 701 South Pioneer Drive, Abilene, Texas 79605 or Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
