She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Hess. Marilyn was an LVN and also worked for JCPenney for 25 years. She was a long time member of Southern Hills Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Mitchen and husband Charles of Spring; her son, David Hess and wife Heather of Abilene, her daughter, Jennie McDonald and husband Chris of Haltom City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and her sister, Linda Reed and husband Jerry of Bluffton, SC.
In lieu of funeral services, and to honor Marilyn, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Hills Church of Christ, 3666 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, TX 79605.
