Marcy was incredibly intelligent. She was a graduate of Abilene High School and later a graduate of Abilene Christian University, where she earned her Business Management degree. Described as a good person with a big heart, Marcy touched the lives of those around her with her kindness and compassion. She never met a stranger. Marcy loved animals: her dog Chiquita and her cat Tig. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Marcy is survived by her mother Guadalupe "Nana" Loza; husband Ismael Gomez; daughter Liliana Gomez; brother Richard "Ricky" Loza, Jr. (wife Sabrina); and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved father Richard S. Loza, Sr.; her maternal grandparents Miguel and Julia Flores, Sr.; paternal grandparents; and uncles Miguel Flores Jr. and Alberto Flores.
May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.

A visitation for Marcy will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, Texas 79606. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, April 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 837 Jeanette Street, Abilene, Texas 79602. Burial will follow in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories.
