As we try to express what Linda meant to everyone who knew her, our words fail us. We could tell you that Linda grew up on a small family farm in Merkel, Texas as the youngest of 9 children, or that she worked 30 years for the office of Special Education Programs at Abilene ISD, making friends she kept throughout her life. We could tell you of her love for antiquing or of the adventures she undertook on trips with her family, but none of that captures what Linda was most concerned about you knowing about her.
If you know only one thing about Linda Black Pugh, know that more than anything in her life she cherished her two daughters and her grandchildren.
