Mrs. Kathy L. Elliott

Kathy Lee Elliott passed away peacefully March 4, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Abilene, Texas on September 17, 1957 to Lynn and Eloise Lee. She is preceded in death by her mother Eloise Lee and brother Jay Lee. She is survived by her husband, Steve Elliott, son Clifton Elliott, daughter Emily Elliott, father Lynn Lee, and sister Lynda Monaco. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Omadene Elliott, brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Judy Elliott and sister-in-law Carol Lee as well as numerous other friends and relatives.

Kathy was blessed to have a beautiful family and her legacy of her love and devotion to her family will always be evident through their faith and accomplishments. She attended Texas Tech University and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega before marrying Steve Elliott on September 17, 1983. She and her family attended Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas. Kathy also regularly attended Ladies Bible Study.

Kathy was truly a lover of life and of people and who never met a stranger. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends and all who have had the honor, pleasure and privilege of knowing her unique and ebullient personality and spirit of courage.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 7th from 6pm- 8pm and the funeral Monday, March 8th at 1:00 pm. Location for both will be at Elliott-Hamil located at 542 Hickory St. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Austin Chambers, Casey Chambers, Pat Edwards, Ryan Edwards, Chase Elliott and Justin Elliott.
