Kanjibhai Dahyabhai Patel, age 85, of Sweetwater, Texas passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family.
A prayer service will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, Texas 79606. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Kanjibhai was born on November 11, 1938 in Gujarat, India to the late Dhayabhai and Nandiben Patel.
He was very good with the earth and was a farmer in India for many years. After relocating he became involved in the Hospitality industry as an investor. He still loved being outside gardening.
Kanji was a respected member of the community. He was always cordial and quiet. He thought things through before speaking or making a decision. He will be missed by his family and close friends.
He is fondly remembered by his wife, Madhuben Patel; his daughters, Kalpana and Sadhna; his sons-in-law, Shailesh and Rashmin; his grandchildren, Mukti and her husband Punit, Nikita and her husband Krishan, Puja, Neha and Samay; his great-grandchild, Kiara; and numerous other relatives and close friends.
