Joylyn “Joy” Ellison, 66, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Abilene, Texas. She was born on July 5, 1949 in Odessa, Texas to James and Jackie Stroud. Joy is survived by her husband of 33 years Gary Ellison, sons Joseph and wife Leann Thomas, Mathew and wife Mellissa Ellison, and Jonathan and wife Katy Ellison, grandchildren Jackson Ellison, Rylie and Scarlett Ellison and mother-in-law Dorothy Louise Ellison. Funeral Services are pending with Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
