Edwin Charles Seeley was born on December 6, 1942 and passed away on June 2, 2019. He graduated from L.D. Bell High school in 1961. From 1961 to 1966 Ed served in the Navy aboard the submarine USS Swordfish SSN 579. After the war he worked at General Dynamics and American Airlines. He also worked for the General Service Administration and the Federal Protective Service for 28 years before retiring.
Preceding Ed in death are his father Harvey Seeley; mother Ruth Hollinsworth; and step-mother Beulah Seeley. Ed is survived by his wife, Judy Seeley; two daughters Kim and Tracy Seeley; three step-sons, David, Gary, and Nathan; and nine fantastic grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. in the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery 5701 US Hwy 277 South, Abilene, TX.
