Doug McClellan, 74, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017, in Abilene. Funeral services and burial will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2017, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Doug was born on November 13, 1942, in Spur, Texas, to the late Charles Edgar and Maurine Jordan McClellan. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Becky McClellan, of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Jana McClellan Jones, of Abilene, Texas; companion, Ilse Reyes; brother, Dub McClellan, of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Brandy Kusterbeck and Patrick McClellan; and three great-grandchildren.
