Cynthia (Cindy) Charlene Husbands was born in Lincolnton, North Carolina to Seth Gabriel and Betty Poovey, on December 31, 1951. Cindy was a remarkable soul who embraced life’s adventures. She found joy in exploring new places, cherishing memories with loved ones and reveling in the excitement of reality show Big Brother. Cindy had a spirit that rocked to the rhythm of classic rock tunes, forever leaving a melody in our hearts. May her memory live in each and everyone of her family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Husbands of 21 years; father, Seth Gabriel and step father, Pete Doyle.

Cindy is survived by her children, Jesse (Cara) Husbands, Matthew Husbands from Buffalo Gap, Texas; brothers, Gil Gabrilel, John (Laura) Doyle; mother, Betty Glasson; grandchildren, Emma and Logan Husbands; nephews, Grayson Doyle, Robbie Doyle and Brandon Gabriel.
