Chris Gaines, 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Abilene, TX. Services will be 10:00a.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Chris was born on August 18, 1920 in Childress, Texas to Robert Emmett Warren and Bertha Irene Hill. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Beryl E. Gaines; and her brothers, Robert and Donald Warren. Survivors include her daughter, Karla Garber and husband, Wallace of Abilene; a sister, Janice Tyler of Pampa, TX; granddaughter, Kristi Morris and husband, Paul of Abilene; grandson, Glen Garber and wife, Leigh Ann of Plano, TX; three great-grandchildren, Kyle, Kelly, and Katie Lynn Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
