

Angelina V. Aguero (Quelo), 81, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 surrounded by her family. Arrangements are entrusted to Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00a.m., on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 with Reverend Ezequiel Pecina of New Life Temple, 2464 Old Anson Rd. officiating.
Angelina was born on October 2, 1933 to the late Arcadio and Apolonia Villalovos. A lifetime resident of Abilene, Angelina was a beautiful woman loved and admired by many. She was very accepting, caring, funny and capable of making people feel at ease with her smile. Angelina was a fun-loving mother who loved music and loved to dance. Our Angel will be terribly missed but never forgotten.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Marcello Aguero Sr.; and sisters, Francis (Kika) Chavana and Isabel (Chavela) Vallejo. Survivors include two daughters, Vera Aguero and Teresa V. DeAnda Brackman and husband, Steven; a son, Marty Aguero, Jr. and wife, Iris; eight grandchildren, Zoe, Sicily, Sarah, Katie, Nicholas, Joseph, Alex, and Zack; siblings, Mickey (Lupita) Villalovos, Felix Villalovos, Pelish (Jessie) Villalovos, Paula (Pavo) Garcia, Mary (John) Jaramillo; and many nieces and nephews that she adored.
Special thanks to the nurses and ALL the wonderful aides (The Rachels) who took care of mother at Silver Springs.
