Vern had survived his wife Kay who passed away on July 4, 2012 at the age of 91. Formerly of Calgary, Vern and Kay moved to Abbotsford approximately 20 years ago.
Vern and Kay had been married for 66 years when Kay passed away. Vern and Kay had no children of their own.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 12:00 pm, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC, with graveside service to follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
