Susanna Klassen

After years of longing to go to her heavenly home, our life-weary mom and Oma, Susanna (Siemens) Klassen, was erloest, released from her earth-body and all its suffering at 7:25 pm on February 24, 2023 (her watch kept ticking). We rejoice in the belief that she is free now to rest in Love Eternal. As we were in her prior to birth, she will remain in us (as memory). Ruhe Sanft, Mama. Rest in peace, mom.

Awaiting her in the Beyond are her parents, brothers Heinrich, Dietrich, and Peter; sisters Tina and Mika. Also, husband Waldemar, son John, and countless relatives and friends.

Surviving her are Walter (Rita) Klassen; Henry (Kathy Peters) Klassen; Margaret Ann; Ernie (Michael Barwell) Klassen; Elsie K Neufeld; Charlotte (Rob) Lepp; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren, sister Margaret Braun, brother Gerhard Siemens (Maria), sister-in-law Mary Siemens.

Viewing at Woodlawn Funeral Home on March 8, 2023 at 9-9:45 am; interment at 10:30 am, Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery; and Celebration of Life, 11:30 am, at Eben-Ezer Mennonite Church located at 2051 Windsor Street, Abbotsford, V2T 6L6. Reception to follow. Service will be live-streamed, and thereafter available on youtube.
