He was born in Abbotsford August 4, 1960 to Robert Flett Donaldson and Muriel Joy Donaldson (Manuel).
He spent his entire life in Bradner, B.C. and loved his community and church of Bradner.
He leaves behind his wife Pat of 36 years, 4 children Sarah (Bud) Yoder, Pamela (Jordan) Krause, Robert 4th (Torrie) Donaldson and Bruce Donaldson, 8 grandchildren Jacob, Bailey, Mikaela, Hazel, Jemma, John, Robert 5th and Jed, sister Margaret (Dave) Bell & Aunt Isobel Thompson (Donaldson).
Rob was a legend and pioneer in the organic and niche specialty markets of many commodities. He was a great mentor to many in farming and in life. He was a humble, innovative, successful, kind, caring and faithful man. He would insightfully construct something bigger and better than what any one thought it could be but would do it in such a humble manner. He had a passion for animals and a dream of creating quality products to feed other families.
He took great pride in his family and Bradner Farms. He successfully managed to balance a growing business and was able to spend time which was most important with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the ranch, horse pack trips, side by siding, hunting and watching his livestock in pastures.
He had a big influence on his children, grandchildren and community and will be deeply missed.
Please join us for a celebration of life on August 22, 2022, 1:30 pm at the Bradner Community Hall.
