Marvin Craig Joseph Grant was born February 24, 1952 in Calgary, Alberta, and moved to British Columbia in 1958. He passed away peacefully February 20, 2016 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
He is survived by his three children Michael, Anthony (Deanna) and Amanda, six grandchildren, brothers Wayne, Dale (Dorothy), Dwight, and sister Lorna. He was predeceased by his mother Mary Scott and sisters Eunice, Iona and Faye.
Marvin was employed at Van Kam Freightways and was proud to be a trucker. His passion was his 1968 Camaro along with appreciation for all muscle cars. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and living life to the fullest.
Thank you to all the staff on the Oncology and Palliative units at Abbotsford Regional Hospital who looked after Marvin during his last couple of weeks.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, BC.
