At this time, it's very difficult to express my feelings for my big sister Linda.

As sisters, we shared many special moments and I know that the most important thing in her life was her family; her husband Victor, the man of her dreams, and her two children Clinton and Kimberly.

As a mother, she tried her best to create a loving home for her family,  irregardless of her own hopes and dreams.

Her willingness to create lasting memories by welcoming acquaintances into her home was a gift she gave to others, yet never comfortable with being the center of attention.

Even so, she evolved into the hostess with the mostest, Chef Lynn, an independent woman whom enjoyed preparing delicious Sunday dinners for her family and closest friends, friends she clearly appreciated and loved.

She enjoyed sharing stories from her childhood, which for some were annoying, but what they failed to understand it was her way of showing love for her siblings, and missed the connections. Sometimes her actions were misunderstood, but her intentions were well meaning, never spiteful, and to her disappointment those reunions with her brothers and sister, Carol, never took place.

Even though we did not always share the same view of the world, I was always proud of her. She was courageous throughout her suffering, a stellar advocate, and opinionated. During her final days she remained determined to get well in hopes of continuing to give love and support to her family, and friends. Sadly, she was not given time for that wish to come true.

She will always hold the title of Favourite Aunt, Favourite Sister, and Favourite Partner in Crime, especially when we had a visit from the Abbotsford Police during the early hours one summer day as we partied and played our music too loud.

I will miss her infectious laugh, her funny faces, and making me feel like I was the most important person in the room. 

I will continue to keep her close to my heart.

I have many good memories of my young sister as we grew up in a busy house on Fleming Street. Linda was a very caring, welcoming, and sharing individual. My thoughts today go out to the Mohr and Dykman families over our shared loss. I  watched her grow into the beautiful young lady she was. I fondly remember  the time and effort she put into teasing and back combing her hair in preparation to challenge the world. Rest in peace my sister. Share  now your re.union with Victor and Clint.
