Katherine Donna Lily Monkman

Donna was predeceased by her husband Beverly George Monkman (2010) and her son Kevin Monkman (1987).

She is survived by her oldest son Barry Monkman, Abbotsford (Shane & Todd Monkman) her daughter Laurie McKay, Chilliwack (Shawna & Cory McKay) and youngest daughter Linda Richards, Harrison Hot Springs.

Donna was the oldest of 5 daughters. She is survived by her sisters; Linda Scott, Whiterock, BC, Louvaine Johnston, Eston Sask, and Pam Casavant, Chilliwack, BC

Donna was born in Alsask, Saskatchewan in 1936 and completed her grade 12 in Calgary AB. Donna attended nursing school in Medicine Hat AB where she met her husband Bev, and had her 4 children. In 1964 Bev & Donna moved their family to Calgary AB where they resided for 12 years, prior to moving to Abbotsford, BC in 1976.

After raising her 4 children to teenage years, Donna began working as a drapery seamstress for Tip Top Tailors. She later became a Licensed Travel Agent, and worked for Ambassador Travel in Abbotsford, and World Odyssey in Mission until she retired. Donna enjoyed travelling overseas as a Travel Agent, and both Bev & Donna continued to travel in retirement with their RV throughout Canada and the USA. In 1994 they purchased a membership at the Harrison Holiday RV Park, in Harrison Hot Springs, BC which they enjoyed with their children, grandchildren and friends for many years.
