Jim grew up in Trout Lake. He was an avid Willys guy. He owned, parted and salvaged 59 Willys in his lifetime. Anyone looking for parts or information Jim was the guy to call from across Canada and the United States. His pride and joy was his 40 Willy's Coupe which took years of love and labor to complete. He raced at Mission and Sechelt. He loved the Studebakers also. Sadly, he did not get to enjoy his latest project - a 65 Daytona Studebaker. Over the years he was a dedicated member of several car clubs - PISRA, Mid America Willys Club, Roadgents and BCHRA. Jim loved a deal, especially at automotive swap meets. Acreage in rural Princeton was enjoyed by family and friends for many years. Jim was a loyal fan of the Blue Jays as well.
