Douglas William Ingleby, age 66, loving son, brother and father, passed away comfortably in his home on April 10, 2022.
Douglas was born on February 19, 1956, in Vancouver, British Columbia and graduated from Windermere Secondary School. He worked a fulfilling career as part of the Local 97 Ironworkers for most of his life, up until retirement, except for the years he took off to be a stay-at-home dad for his young daughter. Notable projects include the expansion of Vancouver General Hospital and the reconstruction of the Port Mann Bridge.
Abbotsford has been his home since 1996. One of his hobbies was taking long walks through his favourite trails. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle along the many country roads.
