It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Delia DeSilva Aubie married to Arthur Aubie for 72 years. Her death occurred with loving care at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital in Abbotsford, British Columbia on June 10, 2023 at the age of 91. Delia was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick in 1932.
She was survived by her 2 daughters: Diane Aubie Moran of Abbotsford, B.C. and Judy Aubie (Michael Cullen) of Trois Rivieres, Quebec. Predeceased by her son Roger Aubie.
Grandchildren: Michael, Gillian, Jessica, and great grandchildren: Eryx, Alex, Zetta, Norah, Sarah and Thomas.
Three brothers: Steven, James and Denis.
She was predeceased by 4 sisters: Dora, Theresa, Carmoline, and Sandra and 3 brothers: Edgar, Wilfred and Alvin.
Delia was the daughter of Stella Larocque and Wilfred DeSilva.
Her remains will be interred at the South Bathurst Cemetery at a later date.
