David Fast

At the age of 7, he lost his mother and then gained a good and loving step-mother. He spent his youth there.

In 1949, the family relocated to Colonia Nova, in Rio Grande do Sul. He married Maria Epp in 1954.

Their son, Wigand was born in 1955, daughter, Elvani was born in 1957 and daughter, Lore was born in 1958. The last 9 years in Brasil, he was a bus driver, a job he really enjoyed.

The family moved to Canada in 1966. They lived in Ontario until 1979 and then moved to Vancouver. He worked a variety of jobs until he retired in 1994.

In 1990, they made the move to Abbotsford. On April 10, 2011, he lost his wife of 55 years, Maria Fast. He continued to reside in their townhouse until he passed away on

January 14, 2018, his 88th Birthday.

He leaves behind his three children: Wigand Fast (Elaine), Elvani Toews (Hugo) and Lore Harms (Adolf), seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
