After a long struggle with cancer, Cheryl passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Cheryl had a degree in history from Simon Fraser University, and was an avid reader of politics and history. She was very adventurous and travelled throughout Europe and the Middle East. Prior to her death, she worked at Vancouver Community College, where she was an academic advisor. Cheryl was predeceased by her brother, Brian, and her father, Clay. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth, her sisters Gaye (Jim), Carol (Ray), Barbara (Kevin) and her brother, Robert (Heather). She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, Jason, Rachel, Amber, Brian, Teresa, Kayleigh, Emily and David.
