Did Aubrey ever live in Amherst NS? I have a picture of  myself and a young man (probably about 19 or 20 yo in this pic) by this name taken when I was about 7 and he boarded at our house. There are so many fond & loving memories of the Mutch Family too many to share.  There was wonderful sweet fellowship, generous hospitality,  & fun during our visits with you with our family. 
Years of me spending time with you during my summer visits each year & my school years attending CHS & BBC.  I was at your home often.
We are sad for you that Aubrey is gone, but glad for his reward.  We are continually remembering you in prayer as we bring your grief to the Throne of Grace  & ask for your comfort during this time.  Distance at this time with Covid keeps us a part but we will do our best to support you during this difficult time perhaps with a visit at a later date, or a phone call when things have subsided.  We love you all.

As a seminary student at Briercrest Seminary, I spent quite a number of weeks, renting a room from Aubrey and Hazel. I have nothing but good things to say of Aubrey, as he helped me in many ways spiritually. I know that he has already received his reward for his faithful service to our God and King. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

I grew up with Aubrey at Caronport. I was often in the Mutch home and he was a great big brother to me, taking me hunting and showing interest in my love for aquariums. Later, when I attended Briercrest I sat by him in two classes. We had great friendship and fellowship in Christ. See you soon brother!! You are reunited with your papa, mom Mutch and your dear brother Paul!!!

I remember Aubrey as faithful in ministry, service, hospitality and prayer, and as part of a partnership that welcomed me into their home for many a savoury meal and good fellowship. He is now where we all long to be! Hazel and Stephie, hugs and prayers to you both in this time of change and adjustment.

We are so very sorry to hear of Aubrey’s sudden passing.We  always enjoyed the warmth of his visits,  his kindness and his inspirational words .Our thoughts and prayers are with you All during this difficult time. Take good care and know  we are sending  big hugs -that was a beautiful service too with touching songs.

We watched Aubrey's funeral today in our living room and his wonderful  tomato plants as our backdrop....he had an amazing green thumb!  What a wonderful service it was.  Aubrey had a passion for biblical truth and a love for His Lord and Saviour.  Just knew him for a short time but will be very much missed.  Praying for you Hazel & Stephanie and family.  2 Cor: 1:3

It was a special joy to know Aubrey and Hazel.  He leaves a great legacy of faithfulness and kindness.   Of all my good memories, the one that stands out most was about a week before our daughter-in-law passed away.  No one really knew what to say to her except Aubrey. He came over and bent down in front of her and spoke gently of how she would soon be seeing Jesus.  
Our sincere condolences to Hazel and family. He has left a legacy of faithful memories that should encourage each of us to 'press on' for the glory of God.

We were saddened to read the news of Aubrey's passing. We know he is home with his Savior but we ache for Hazel and the family. We always respected Aubrey for his humble and sincere spiritual stature and were always made more aware of God's workings when we talked to him. He had a habit of walking around the campus and praying for it and the people in it. He really loved to share his faith and we know he came alongside many students as he shared. God was always in his speech and we were always blessed to see his face light up as he spoke about his God in his unique and gentle way. We are so sad for Hazel, Stephanie, Cathy and Jonnie and the inlaws and grandchildren who will miss him incredibly. Our condolences and sympathies to you all.

We were so sad to hear that Aubrey has finished his earthly sojourn, and will always remember him as special co-laborers  in ministry with Africa Inland Mission.  Before we left Kenya we had a memorable visit with them in Zaire, then we also cherished his frequent visits to our Toronto AIM office where we both worked, and he often stayed with us.  He always had a heart for people and missions, so we had many a good talk together.  His wife and family were the love of  his life and we always enjoyed their warm hospitality whenever we passed through Briercrest, SK .  Our prayers are with you and your family, Hazel,  and know that your comfort and hope rests in the assurance that we shall meet again.   May our loving Shepherd, Jesus continue to lead you beside still waters and restore your soul.

I have many happy memories of time spent with Aubrey at church board meetings and general discussions, also of many pot luck meals at your house.  We are praying for you.

We have so many good memories of times shared with Aubrey, Hazel and family.   Aubrey modelled for us a deep love for the Lord and His Word.  He took every opportunity  he could to encourage others to read the Bible regularly and to grow in faith by doing so.  He had a missionary heart - picking up hitchhikers and sharing his faith with them, paying weekly visits to  a lonely man and seniors in Moose Jaw who might  otherwise have been forgotten, sending emails to support friends and acquaintances in their faith journey...these were just a few of his joys.   We are praying for peace and comfort for Hazel and her family.

Aubrey was a kind and good friend. We travelled many thousands of kilometres together as Missionary Rep's for our separate Missions. Many laughs and long conversations were had during those trips. I was always amazed that we could be in the middle of nowhere on a train and Aubrey would meet someone whom he knew or who knew him and had been praying for his family for years. What a heart for people and for serving His LORD faithfully! We miss him though Heaven is rejoicing. 


I remember Aubrey when they lived at Caronport. Grateful I had the chance to know him and so grateful to the Lord I will see him again. All best to his family. 

There are those rare individuals in life that leave a lasting impression on your life, Aubrey was one of those to us. He has over the years continued to keep in touch and take the time to encourage our adult kids and this touched our hearts.  We share your grief Hazel, Cathie, Jonny and Stephanie and all your families.  Oh what joy this gentle and caring man is experiencing in God’s presence!

It seems so recent that my family and I stopped to say hi in Abbotsford and catch up with Aubrey, Hazel and Steph.  So sad to hear Aubrey has passed away.  He was gentle, he listened and he had kind words.  He also took time to help me when I needed help.  He is missed. 

Steph, Cathy, and Jonny!! So so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing! I’ve got a lot of great memories from over the years. He was an amazing man and he will be missed. God be with you and your Mom as you mourn the loss and celebrate his life, God will be with you. And you will see him again! Blessings !!

Aubrey was truly  a Gentle Man.
We always enjoyed visiting with him when  he would visit Cocteau Hills Bible Church.

It amazes me how we can feel so deeply sad for the loss of such a man and so immensely joyful for his entry into his eternal home.  We remember such happy times celebrating holidays and friendship with Aubrey and family in Caronport. Aubrey had an amazing way to help everyone around him feel as though they were  important. Thank you for the memories and the life lessons by your example Aubrey.

Aubrey was one of the camp directors at Cypress Hills Bible Camp.  He was a wonderful man and led the camps in a Godly way.  He will be missed but our hope is knowing we will see him again

My deepest sympathy to the family ! He was a great man and I always enjoyed visiting with him ! 

We are grieving with family and friends of Aubrey. You were one of the first families we met at Caronport. You welcomed us, encouraged us and became our friends. We’ve always held Aubrey in high esteem, a Godly man,  faithful to His Lord and family. He influenced, prayed for and helped our youngest daughter experience Africa as a short term missionary. What an amazing and growing experience that was for all of us! We are praying for Hazel and the family. God is our refuge, strength and comforter. 

The news of Aubrey’s sudden death came as a shock to us.  We remember those times when we shared meals together in each other’s homes and also those times when Aubrey and I used to meet over coffee and share conversations about life and faith.  Our prayers are for his family.  We pray for peace and strength as they grieve his loss and as they continue to walk by faith, now without him to help and bless them.

We were so shocked to hear of Aubrey's passing. We so enjoyed working with him in the  kitchen at Clearbrook Church. May God comfort you and give you much peace & good memories to help you through this difficult time. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
