Andrew Walentyn David Berry

Andrew Walentyn David Berry passed away unexpectedly in his home Feb 28, 2023. He was born in New Westminster BC. On May 15, 1984 to Julie Kosobucki Perius and Don Berry, step-son to Mark A. Perius. He attended elementary school in Mississauga, ON., Middle-school, WBHS in West Bloomfield, MI and College in Kalamazoo, MI. He spent summers with his loving grandparents Lucille & Walentyn Kosobucki Campbellford, ON. He swam on the Campbellford Swim Team and fished the Trent River and Jack Lake with his grandfather and uncles.

He swam competitively for the Etobicoke swim Team and later the Black Dog Swim Team as a State finalist in Michigan.

Andrew was a diligent and customer focused District Sales Manager for medical equipment in both Alberta and BC. for 18 years. He traveled to Jamaica, Hawaii, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Florida, Barbados, England & Scotland. He was also a Master Mason.

Andrew (McFlurry) established a part-time fishing charter company in Alberta. CanadianFishingOutfitters Inc. He was well known in the fishing community and stared in two episodes with Wes David, Fishing The Wild West Show. He was a legend on Cold Lake and would often be spotted with his dogs Chewy & Sturgeon at his side.

Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him knew he was a larger than life, one of a kind personality that always put friends and family first. He will be remembered as a kind, compassionate soul with a million dollar smile and an amazing sense of humor and adventure. A proud doggy daddy (Chewy & Sturgeon) and a thoughtful beloved son, brother, nephew and friend. His long passionate debates and phone calls will be desperately missed by all those he left behind. Our hearts are broken by this loss.

He is survived by Julie Kosobucki Perius, Mark Perius, Dawn Berry, Don Berry, Lucille Kosobucki, Leona Twiddy, Sandy & Dave Hunter, Teresa & Stu Hammell, John Kosobucki, Rick & April Kosobucki, Mike Kosobucki, Bob Cork, Kim & Mark Mahoney, Kirk & Karen Cork, Kris Cork, Kriszha Hunter, Samantha & Nick Anderson, Sasha Kosobucki, Joel Kosobucki, Evan Kosobucki, Rachel Kosobucki, Olivia Kosobucki, Violet Kosobucki, Mike & Michelle Perius, Nick & Shelia Perius, Stu & Maria Clute. God Parents, Ed Dunk & Linda Berry.

Cremation has taken place in Abbotsford, B.C. Pallbearers were Sebastian Beaudry, Steve Longhurst, Kyle Stevens & Mark Perius.

Friends & Family will gather for a celebration of life on July 15th in Cold Lake, Alberta.
