Allan Dyck

February 14, 1953 - November 29, 2011

The Dyck family is sad to announce the sudden death of Allan, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Allan was predeceased by his mother, Patricia, and baby brother, Jamie. Allan is survived by his wife, Janice, and their four children Kelly (Nam), Ian, Erin (Dennis), and Alison (Ibrahim). Gramps will be greatly missed by his 10 grandchildren: Julia, Sonja, and Sophia; Noah, Thomas, Elijah, and Solomon; Mariam, Lilah and Yasmine. He is also survived by his father, Jacob (Susana), sisters Barb (Les) and Jennifer (Brian), and many nieces and nephews. Allan will be fondly remembered for his quick-wit, vigor, and zest for life. Riding his motorcycle, volunteering his time, and working in his yard brought him joy. A viewing will be held at The Oasis in Elim Village, Surrey, BC, on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00. Burial will be held in Nakusp, BC on Friday, December 9, 2011.
